Do you ship internationally?
At this stage, Home Escentials ships within Australia only (no PO Boxes).
How long does shipping take?
• Orders are processed within 2–3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
• Delivery times depend on your location, but most orders arrive within 3–10 business days.
• Delivery delays may occasionally occur.
How much does shipping cost?
• Free delivery on all orders over $100.
• We ship with trusted carriers via Shippit (Australia Post, CouriersPlease, StarTrack, and others).
• Orders are shipped to residential and business addresses only.
Do I need to sign for my delivery?
Orders to a commercial or residential address may require a signature. For other addresses, deliveries will be left in a safe place if available.
How do I track my order?
You’ll receive a tracking number once your order is shipped. If you don’t receive it, check your junk folder or contact us at homeescentials@outlook.com.
Damages & Issues
What if my order is damaged or lost in transit?
If your order arrives damaged or is lost, please contact the courier directly and email us at homeescentials@outlook.com so we can help.
Please keep original packaging and items for inspection.
Refunds & Returns
What is your refund policy?
• Refunds are only offered for faulty or defective products, not for change of mind.
• Our refund policy lasts 7 days from the date of delivery.
• Items must be unused, in original packaging, and with proof of purchase.
• Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll confirm approval by email. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method.
Important:
• Sale items are non-refundable.
• We do not accept returns after 7 days.
• Shipping costs for returns are the customer’s responsibility and are non-refundable.
Can I exchange an item?
We only replace items if they are faulty or damaged. Please email us at homeescentials@outlook.com before sending items back.

Candles
What wax do you use?
We use 100% soy wax – a natural, renewable, eco-friendly option that burns cleaner and releases fragrance beautifully.
How long do your candles burn for?
• Standard candles: approx. 35–45 hours
• Large candles: up to 80 hours
Trim the wick to 5mm before lighting for the best burn.
Why is there black residue inside my candle?
This usually happens when wicks are too long. Keep your wick trimmed to 5mm before burning. Wipe clean with a damp cloth if needed.
Why is my candle tunnelling?
Tunnelling happens when a candle isn’t burned long enough to reach the edges. Let the first burn melt all the way across for a “memory burn.”
Can I reuse the jars?
Yes! Once cleaned, jars can be used as planters, pen holders, or storage containers.
Diffusers
How long do your diffusers last?
Up to 3 months, depending on airflow and environment.
How can I make the scent last longer?
Flip the reeds every 1–2 weeks. Keep diffusers away from direct sunlight or heat.
Are your diffusers safe around pets?
We use IFRA-compliant fragrance oils. Place diffusers out of reach of pets and in well-ventilated areas.
Room Mists
How do I use room mists?
Spritz into the air, onto linens (patch-test first), or any space needing refresh. Avoid spraying directly on skin or delicate surfaces.
Are room mists safe on fabric?
Yes, but always test on a small, hidden patch first.
How long does the scent last?
Room mists provide an instant burst of fragrance lasting several hours, depending on space and amount sprayed.
